The AWD Charger r/t is a thing. DO WANT

That sounds amazing. They should rally it.

I’ve driven an AWD V8 300C, I can verify that with the TCS turned off they are lost of fun in the snow.

AMERICAN CARS CANT TURN HURR DURR

The newer ones only come with the V6 unfortunately, but the style before the last refresh had it in both.

I will now direct your attention to this Head to Head video in which, the Camaro was faster around Barber Motorsports Park (the nearest track to me) than the GTR.

I was being sarcastic. It seems like new American cars (GM at least) actually handle better than comparable Japanese or European cars.

I figured so, but I just wanted to use actual facts to prove that your sarcastic statement was wrong. But it has gotten to the point where I would consider a Cadillac V car as well as an AMG or M.

One of my friends refuses to acknowledge that American cars have moved on from what they were in the 90's and are now legitimate rivals for most European cars. You couldn't imagine how distressed he was when Motor Trend picked the Camaro over the M4.

There’s still a big gulf between “being able to turn” and “being fun to turn.”
The Focus ST crosses that gap.
The ‘15 Mustang GT doesn’t quite make it.
That said, I am skeptical of the Charger’s AWD system. Although the fact that the Charger is RWD and not FWD like so many other Faux-wheel-drive cars gives me some hope.

I suspect you could get lost of fun in an AWD Charger on a regular basis!

Not anymore. The take rate on them was so low, only 2% it was discontinued. Who woulda thought that people who wanted the V8 wanted the RWD as well? Now the only way to get the V8 AWD is the police package cars.

Unless you order the Special Service package (aka the Five-O-Mobile). That one’s still available in AWD with the Hemi. At least in Canada.

It may be available here, but I am not sure. Didn’t think about the cop version.

See doesn’t make a car suddenly able to turn
Also I hate how 3##xi bimmer handle in comparison to their rwd counterparts. But that's not the source of my statement above

Yep and when the Hellcat came out an AWD version based off the sxt came to mind pretty much instantly.

Ah, that stinks

That sounds amazing, how’s the automatic in the snow?
![]() 03/10/2016 at 10:07 |

0-60 times in an AWD Hellcat would be ridiculous, too bad Dodge won't put the effort into making it

not to bad. there’s enough torque that even in the wrong gear, you can still do want you want.

that’s what the Grand Cherokee Hellcat is for :)
